In the year 1904, the
Swiss family Christ emigrated from Kublis, Graubunden,
Switzerland to the United States and settled in Portland,
Oregon. In the third generation, the descendants of this
family founded the mythical town of New Graubunden. New
Graubunden is located in a remote valley surrounded by the
rugged terrain of the Ozark Mountains.
